A community shaped by faith, hope and love — here for the people of Kingaroy for over seven decades.
Kingaroy Baptist Church was established on 31 December 1949 and has been part of the fabric of the South Burnett ever since. Across the generations, our congregation has gathered to worship God, encourage one another, and care for our neighbours.
Though times and faces have changed, our heart remains the same: to be a welcoming family where people can find hope in Jesus, belong to a caring community, and grow in faith at every stage of life.
Today we continue that legacy — worshipping together each Sunday and generously giving gifts and care to bless families across our community.
To love God, love one another, and love our community — sharing the hope of the gospel in word and in practical care.
A thriving, caring church family where people of every age and background find belonging, faith and lasting hope.
Faith, family, warmth and generosity guide everything we do — welcoming all with kindness and grace.
As a Baptist church, we hold to the historic Christian faith. In simple terms, this is what we believe and seek to live by:
We believe in one God, who has revealed himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit — loving, holy and worthy of our worship.
We believe the Bible is God’s word, trustworthy and true, and our guide for faith and everyday living.
We believe that Jesus Christ lived, died and rose again, offering forgiveness, new life and lasting hope to everyone who trusts in him.
We believe the church is a family — called to gather, encourage one another, and serve our community with genuine love and generosity.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and love your neighbour as yourself.Matthew 22:37–39
